Friday, July 3rd - Pro-Junior Championship and Individual Seeding Round

One PGA professional and two or three juniors (ages 10-18) comprise a pro-junior team. The event is a double best-ball format - everyone plays their own ball and the best two scores for each hole are counted for the team score. A pro can be on multiple pro-junior teams and can invite as many juniors as he/she would like.

Individual Seeding Round: Individuals not participating on a pro-junior team will participate in a seeding round for match play. The top 16 boys and 8 girls (from players participating as indididuals and those on pro-junior teams) will qualify for match play.

Low-Pro: The Pro-Junior Championship will also serve as an 18 hole low-pro event. The low-pro purse will total $2,500.00. There will be three sets of professional tees: Regular Professional, Senior Professional and Women's Professional. A professional must hole out on every hole to be eligible for the low-pro purse.

Note on caddies and carts:

  • Juniors participating in the pro-junior are not permitted to ride in a cart with their professional.
  • Juniors may not strap their golf bag to their professional's cart.
  • No shuttles will be allowed between the play of two holes.
  • Boys 13&U and any girl not wishing to be eligible for match play, may have caddies.
